About Our Online CNA Program
Health Star Academy's CDPH-approved Online CNA Program offers the perfect blend of flexibility and hands-on training. Through our hybrid format, students complete online coursework at their own pace while gaining real-world experience at one of our three clinical training sites -- one in Lodi and two in Stockton- with additional Bay Area locations coming soon.
Our program is designed not just to teach skills, but to set students up for the long-terms success. Many of our student graduates have gone on to secured CNA positions immediately after completion of the program.

Program Details
Our Nurse Assistant Training Program (NATP) consists of 160 total hours, including 60 hours of classroom instruction and 100 hours of hands-on clinical training. This comprehensive course is approved by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).
To be eligible for the California State Certification Exam, students must attend all required classes and achieve a minimum passing score of 70% or higher.
This program is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to begin a successful career as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).
Hybrid Education Model: Theory Instruction - Online
Clinical Instruction at Local nursing facilities.
Class Schedule Options
We offer flexible scheduling to meet your needs, whether you prefer weekday or weekend training.
Daytime Program

Classroom: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Clinical: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Duration: Approximately 23 days (about 6 weeks)
Weekend Program

Theory and Clinical: Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Duration: Approximately 18 days (about 9 weeks)
Clinical Training & Instruction
Hands-on clinical training is a required part of our CNA program and is conducted at approved local healthcare facilities. This real-world experience allows students to apply classroom knowledge in a supervised patient care setting.
Clinical hours are held at one of the following locations:
